With more than 30 years experience, Dr. Socket has worked in a range of settings including residential and day treatment programs, public and private schools and independent private practice.  As an adjunct faculty member at Immaculata University, Dr. Socket taught advanced graduate level courses in child assessment, child and adolescent development and treatment, and personality disorders.  She was a supervising psychologist for pre- and post-doctoral students seeking licensure and was a faculty member on doctoral dissertation committees.  Dr. Socket has extensive experience providing psychological and educational evaluations with a particular emphasis on individual differences and normal variation. 

Dr. Socket is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist.  She is a graduate of an APA- Approved  doctoral program and completed an APA-Approved internship.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Specialists of Schools and is a past Member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Family Academy in West Chester, PA.
